Jávea

Gestalihome sells villas and apartments in Jávea,

 it is located in the north of the province of Alicante, between the San Antonio and La Nao capes. Within the historic center we have the Town Hall, the Food Market, the Culture Center, the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum or the Chapel of Santa Ana. We can access all of them by a short walk.

2 kilometers from the historic center is the seafaring and port area known as the Aduanas del Mar where we must highlight the curious church of Nuestra Señora de Loreto built in the shape of a keel.

Cala Granadella, located about 10 km from the center, a rocky and gravel beach is one of the most famous in Spain. In an environment that connects the mountain with the sea, here you can enjoy crystal clear waters, perfect for snorkeling. It has a restaurant, hammock service and a stand to rent snorkel and kayak equipment, since from here one of the most interesting maritime routes on the entire Costa Blanca departs.

The port of Jávea is a perfect area to walk, have tapas in the bars or eat in one of its restaurants. Here you can enjoy the Mediterranean gastronomy par excellence, with fresh fish direct from the port. In fact, there is a fishmonger in the port where sailors auction off fresh fish just out of the sea.

Routes through the Montgó Natural Park, the town of Jávea is separated from Dénia by the Montgó Natural Park, which has an area of more than 2000 hectares and a maximum altitude of 753 meters.

Cabo de San Antonio lighthouse, with stunning views from the top of the Jávea coast. To get here, we can go by car to the recreational area, which is just under a kilometer from the lighthouse to walk around the area a bit, or if you prefer you can park directly in the lighthouse area.
The Cova Tallada is a wonder of nature, a cave that connects directly with the sea, with the rock carved inside since in Muslim times it was used as a quarry for construction.

Molins de la Plana, there are 11 mills from the XIV century are located in the area of the planes, where the “Llebeig” blows. It is a beautiful hiking route to move around the Montgó and enjoy the countryside and wonderful views of Cabo de San Antonio.
Cala de Portichol + Mirador, is a small picturesque corner of Jávea, where we find some old fishermen's houses, white and blue, perfect to go up a couple of points in our ranking of the posture known as Instagram.

In front we have the Island of Portichol, which we can access by swimming, kayaking or boat. It is a point with a great marine fauna, ideal if we want to snorkel in its surroundings. As a point of interest, access to this cove is given by the Mirador de Portitxol, a square with a cross from which we can see the island.

Old town, its streets preserve the medieval architecture, buildings made of stones, with medieval arches and the defense walls, which were built as a defense perimeter. Some of the emblematic buildings that we should visit are the Church of San Bartolomé, the Mercado de Abastos, the Town Hall and the historical and ethnological museum.

Playa del Arenal is one of the best known in Jávea, with a length of half a kilometer, it is the only sandy beach in the municipality. Throughout this area you can find a wide variety of restaurants and bars, as well as several nightlife venues.
